Hotel Korning Kro

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location in a very agricultural region made it a peaceful and serene getaway. It was also conveniently close to the motorway, making it easy to find and access. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and recently redecorated rooms. We loved that we could park just by the door, making it convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us - they even came out to find us when we were struggling to locate the hotel in the dark. The cleanliness was perfect, and the breakfast offered was delicious and satisfying.

I was in transit from the ferry in Hirtshals to Copenhagen Airport and chose Korning Kro for a halfway stop, since it is not far off of E45. My stay was short -- I arrived around 11:00 p.m. and had to leave by 7:00 the next morning to get to Copenhagen in time for my flight. Doris, the proprietress, was very accommodating and ensured that the dining room would be open before 6:30. I was the only guest eating at that time, and the food was excellent and plentiful. The guest room was somewhat Spartan in appearance but immaculately clean, with free WiFi.

I booked the room for my parents-in-law. They said the surroundings was very nice, as well the room, food and staff.

Friendly, helpful owner. Easy to find. Quiet area. Spacious, newly decorated room. Easy parking. Close to motorway. Good location for Legoland. Nearby dining options.

Location of hotel is about 3 km away from E45. It's very convenient if you need a stop for one night on the way to or from ferry. It's quiet, clean and childfriendly. Our room was on the ground floor so we parked our car just in front of the door.

Reception and breakfast are open at 8 a.m. We had a ferry to catch and felt that we were squeezed in time. Windows in the room were not secured and we did not dare to have them open during the night. We did not sleep well then.

The hotel stuff was friendly. The price was reasonable. With children, it is a very good hotel.

We spent our Christmas holiday at this hotel and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was a variety of food options to choose from and the meals were delicious. The hotel had a convenient location near the main roads and offered ample parking space. the rooms were spacious and clean.

That the bathroom did not have a shower curtain or door which made the floor wet after each shower. , some of the guests were noisy, which made it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep.

Large rooms. Late arrival (23.00h) no problem if communicated in advance.
